Q. In some Force Powers, such as Absorb/Dissipate Eneregy and Resist Stun, it would appear that they are more of a reactionary skill/power [e.g. 1) to absorb the energy from a blster bolt or 2) to resist a stun from a blaster would normally not be declared until that moment when the skill was needed]. Using the new rules, could some of the Force Powers be classed as reaction powers?
A. They can be, if the game-master likes. Makes sense to me. Q. When using the Force Power – Lightsaber Combat, you add your control and sense skills to damage and accuracy respectively. Do you add the modified control and sense, or the normal ones (example: you have 5D in control and 6D in sense and you bring up lightsaber combat and keep it up. Do you add the unmodified 5D and 6D; or the modified 3D and 4D because you’re keeping two powers up)?
A. Based on p. 148 of the R&E rules I’d say keeping two powers up takes -2D.
