INTRODUCING:

SUMMARY:

The heroes travel to Arcan IV on an important mission to collect a large cache of weapons and investigate a hidden weapons facility which was rumoured to be the origin of the Blue Harvest Project. Once there, they come face to face with two of Horrak the Hutt’s minions who, to the heroes surprise, wish to defect and join the Alliance after being double-crossed by their vile crime lord boss. The mission however takes a turn, as they are joined by a roguish fop named Ace Knight…

STORY:

Event: Upon returning from training, Anthauna, Gan and Ledala continue training and conduct patrol duties on the Home Base.

Event: A few days later, the 3 are requested to travel to return to Arcan IV to obtain the weapons that they placed a down-payment on some time ago.

Event: Later, once the Moon Swing is readied, the group leave for Arcan.

Event: The group enter the system, and soon after arrive at the central spaceport in the main city.

Event: Upon arrival, the group leave the Moon Swing, intent on making contact with the person whom Gan and Vi organised the purchase of the weapons. After paying their docking fees, the group arrive at the cantina.

Event: A short time later, the group meet with a contact and are told that due to some problems with the security of the shipment, the delivery would be delayed a few days. The group then return to the Moon Swing, and wait to be contacted.

Event: A few days later, the group are contacted and told to go to the inn where they would receive further instructions

Event: The group become weary of this and remain on edge while travelling to the cantina. Upon arrival, the group are seated and wait to be contacted.

Event: Sometime later, the group is approached by a female human and a Barabel.

Event: The female identifies herself as Gaaliette, and tells the group that her “employer” is still having problems with the merchandise, and would like them to attend at the Regent Casino, at his expense, until the merchandise is ready. The group accept, but Anthauna declines, and pretends that she is a “client”, and so leaves. Gaaliette and the Barabel escort Gan and Ledala out of the bar. Outside, the two are greeted by a limousine which Gaaliette explains will take them to the Casino. As the group leaves, Anthauna, who had been watching from the shadows, quickly hails a taxi which follows the limousine.

The limousine soon arrives at the Casino, and Gan and Ledala are escorted inside. Once inside, Gaaliette gives both Gan and Ledala a 1,000 credit chip to spend at the casino – “on the house”. Anthauna arrives soon after, and remains outside, watching for signs of trouble. While at the Casino, Gan and Ledala venture to the sabacc tables. There, the two meet Ace Knight, and adventurous rouge, and two other gamblers. Whilst Gan and Ledala are playing, Gel and Gaaliette sit and watch. During the play, Gan leaves the table after loosing a large amount of cash, and states that he is going to use the amenities. Using stealth, Gan leaves the washrooms, and goes to cash his chips. Whilst Gan is gone, Ace decides to “help” Ledala at her game by throwing her a 1,000 credit chip. A short time later, after Ledala looses some more credits, Gan returns. Whilst waiting, Anthauna notices a number of thug type characters enter the casino via a side entrance.

Event: Later, the goons leave the premises via the same exit. Gaaliette is then contacted by her “employer”, Horrak the Hutt, and is told that the shipment is ready t he warehouses located at the East dock.

Event: Gaaliette then informs Gan and Ledala that the shipment is ready. Gan, and Ledala, along with Gaaliette and the Barabel leave the Casino. As they exit, the limousine pulls up outside, and they enter the vehicle. As the vehicle takes off, Anthauna leaps from the shadows, and jumps on the roof of the limousine. In the meantime, Ace, now somewhat infatuated with Ledala, has left the Casino with intentions of following the group. As Ace exits the casino, he sees Anthauna jump on the limousine. As this is happening, Ace quickly hails a taxi-speeder, and gets in. Ace then tells the taxi driver to “follow the limousine”, and hands the driver a 100 credit chip.

The limousine suddenly stops at Gaaliette’s request. Gaaliette then exits the vehicle, as Anthauna, realising that she had been noticed, rolls off the roof, and onto the roadway. Gaaliette draws her weapon as does Anthauna, as both arrive at the rear of the vehicle. The Barabel at this time opens the sun-roof, and looks outside. As both Gaaliette and Anthauna have their weapons pointed at each other, Ace places a wager with the Taxi driver on the outcome of the situation. As the Barabel pokes his body out of the vehicle through the sun-roof, Ace states that the wager is off. Gaaliette tells Anthauna to get into the vehicle just as the Barabel jumps to the roadway. Anthauna, knowing her chances in this type of situation, takes flight. The Barabel quickly runs after Anthauna and a short fight ensues in front of the taxi-speeder containing Ace. As the Barabel knocks Anthauna to the ground, Ace opens the door, allowing Anthauna to fall into his lap. Quickly moving Anthauna into the taxi, Ace jumps out, and punches the Barabel, and injures his hand in the process.

In the meantime, Gaaliette returns to the limousine, and tells the chauffeur to keep driving. The Barabel pushes Ace into the taxi and goes to enter the vehicle. As Ace falls in, he tells the driver to “DRIVE!” The taxi takes off and the Barabel is left holding the taxi-speeder door, and a willingness to make an attempt to catch up. Both the limousine and the taxi streak off into the distance, as the Barabel gives chase. The limousine soon arrives at the warehouse.

Gan, Ledala and Gaaliette exit the vehicle, and enter the building where they were due to inspect the weapons. Gaaliette leads them into the building and down to an area of the shed where the weapons are being loaded onto a speeder-truck. Upon arrival, they meet the original contact that Gan and Vi spoke with, regarding the purchase. He explains that the weapons are in top condition, and are waiting to be further loaded by the cargo droid which he explains has just broken down. Gan offers to lift the remaining crates into the speeder-truck to speed up the transaction.

Side Event I – Doublecrossed

Staring: Ace and Anthauna
G.S.Date/Time: 1300 – 35:10:19

Event: Ace and Anthauna follow the limousine at a discrete distance. Ace during this time introduces himself to Anthauna. Anthauna thanks him for the rescue. Ace asks what she was doing on top of a limousine, and Anthauna explains that the bounty hunter and the woman are her friends. She goes on to explain her position, and that she has to follow the limousine to the delivery site. Ace agrees, an asks to go with her – for her protection. During the trip, Ace asks Anthauna where they (especially the young woman) were staying. Anthauna then tells him that they are all staying at the Tharnak Dragon Hotel. A short time later, Anthauna and Ace arrive at the warehouse complex. They exit the taxi, and sneak into the complex area. After a quick observation, the two observe a large troop carrier parked in a discrete position near the back of one of the warehouses. The two then notice a driver with his feet up on the dashboard, reading a news-pad. The two sneak up on the driver, and ambush him. Ace takes his weapon, and tells him to run. With that, the driver runs off. The two then sneak through the complex looking for the limousine. The two then notice a large number of mercenaries brandishing blaster rifles at the back of one of the warehouses. The two then race out after them. Time Taken: 1 hour G.S.Date/Time: 1400 – 35:10:19

Event: Gel arrives, gives his quick greetings, and finishes loading the speeder-truck.

Event: Suddenly, one of the doors to the building opens, and Gan, Ledala, Gaaliette, and Gel are caught in an ambush. After a short fire-fight, with the help of Anthauna and Ace, the mercenaries are killed, but not before Gaaliette is wounded. Quickly, Gan, Ledala and Anthauna say their goodbyes to Gaaliette, Gel. Ace then asks for a ride back into town to which the group agrees. Gan, Ledala, Anthauna and Ace enter the speeder-truck and leave the building. Gaaliette, and Gel quickly leave via the other entrance, and enter the limousine. As they close the door to the limousine, all of the doors lock.

Suddenly the vid-screen communicator turns on, and the two see the face of Horrak the Hutt. At the same time, Gel notices the dead chauffeur. Horrak tells the two that they have been double-crossed and that he hopes they had a nice life. Realising that the limousine was obviously set to explode, Gel smashes the door open, and drags the still wounded Gaaliette to safety. Just as quickly, the limousine explodes. Gan, Ledala, Anthauna and Ace see the explosion. Ace tells the others that that they should go on, and that he will see if Gaaliette and Gel are OK. Gan, Ledala and Anthauna agree and tell him to meet them at the Tharnak Dragon Hotel in 6 hours. Ace agrees and rushes to Gaaliette’s and Gel’s aid. The group then leave for the Moon Swing. Upon arrival at the Moon Swing, the three unload the cargo into the ship.

Event: A few hours later, the 3 travel to the Tharnak Dragon Hotel where they meet with Ace, and Gel.

Side Event II – Cross Fire Crisis

Staring: Ace, Gaaliette and Gel
G.S.Date/Time: 1400 – 35:10:19

Event: Ace meets up with Gaaliette and Gel. Suddenly, Gaaliette is hit from behind by a sniper’s weapon which incapacitates her. Ace quickly drops to the ground covering her. Gel covers them both, as Ace carries Gaaliette into an adjoining alleyway. Gel notices a man-hole, and suggests that they take the sewer. Ace agrees, and so Gel rips the vent out. The 3 quickly enter the sewer. Gel then places the vent back in place. The 3 then make their way to an underground medical facility which Gel and Gaaliette had used from time to time. Time Taken: 3 hours G.S.Date/Time: 1700 – 35:10:19 Event: Upon arriving, Gaaliette is placed in a bacta tank. The doctor informs Ace and Gel that it would be necessary for Gaaliette to remain with him for at least 1 day. The two agree, and after cleaning up, both leave to rendezvous with Anthuana, Gan, and Ledala. Ace and Gel then arrive at the Tharnak Dragon Hotel to meet with Anthuans, Gan, and Ledala. Event: Ace and Gel inform the group that Gaaliette was injured while escaping and that they had taken her to an underground medical facility. Gel further states that Gaaliette would be able to be picked up in a day or so. Gel then asks the group if he could stay with them until then. Ace also requests to join them as Anthauna had explained to him that they were a group of smugglers, and he had always wanted to join a smuggling band.

Event: The group, although somewhat reluctantly, agree. The group then inform Ace and Gel that they were also sent to Arcan IV to complete another special task given to them by their “employer”. Gel and Ace agree to come along. The group then stealthily make their way back to the Moon Swing. Upon arrival, the group takes off, and make their way to the island containing the Blue Harvest Research Facility.
