SUMMARY:

Having returned to the safety of the Rebel Fleet above the world of Masterhome, Thermal Force decide to travel to the world of Arcan IV known best as “Hunters World”. After thwarting an Imperial plan to capture them, the group is contacted by a mysterious man named Yosker. His aim – to hire them to transport illegal cargo off-world. It is not until Thermal Force is ambushed mid-trip by pirates that the real intention of the man becomes apparent. Consequently, with the help of the Administrator of Dravian Spaceport, Nilya Fek’ra, Thermal Force takes back the cargo from the pirates, only to return it to one of their sworn enemies – the gangster, Lorrak Beton-Watt Crude…

Event: Tanlee takes Kyan to meet Santhou. Santhou encourages Kyan to learn the ways of the Force, but informs him that he is not quite ready. When Kyan shows his disbelief in the Force, Santhou shows Kyan a few Jedi tricks. During training, the group is called to the main briefing. They are informed that they are to go to Arcan IV to obtain a cache of weapons from a gunrunner whom has made contact with Rebel Agents about the possibility of selling the same.

Event: Gan and Vi go to find a gun-runner while the others stay on-board the Moon Swing. Gan and Vi return some time later and tell the others that they found a possible location of a gunrunner in a place called CDs Bar in the lower part of town.

Event: While there, the group observe a man races into the bar seemingly scared and fleeing from some attacker. Suddenly, a Bounty Hunter dressed in Mandolarian Deathwatch Armour, enters the bar and kills the man. Gan, attempt to out-draw the Bounty Hunter (just for practice) thinking that the Hunter was the legendary Boba Fett. The Hunter sees this, and warns Gan to be careful where he drew his gun, and when. Gan backs off, and the Hunter leaves. Vi finds a back entrance, and request that Ledala and Tanlee cause a diversion. Tanlee and Ledala then yell that all drinks are “on the house”. Suddenly there is a rush for the bar, and Tanlee and Ledala make a break for it over the bar itself. The guard on the door moves to quell the disturbance, enabling Vi to enter the area unnoticed. As Vi enters the area, 2 ISB agents disguised as a prostitute and a customer attack him. Vi quickly dispatches the agents, and hides in another room. In the room is a man who draws a blaster, and fires at Vi. Vi is knocked to the ground, and soon after kills the man. Meanwhile, Karahaa has entered the door where Vi initially entered. Gan moves towards the door, just as Tanlee and Ledala enter the kitchen. Suddenly Ledala and Tanlee realise that this was a trap, and they soon find 10 stormtroopers waiting in ambush. Tanlee reacts quickly, and throws a grenade into a oven which results in destroying the bar, and half of the building. The group converge, and escape through the sewers. When they emerge on street level, they speak with a tall man in the alley way who requests that they perform a job for him.

Event: The man tells the group that he wishes to transport a large number of Welliu nuts, containing security droid logic matrixes. He tells them that the transport of the matrixes requires the expertise of a group who could pull themselves out of any situation – namely the one that the group just pulled themselves out of. The group agrees, and they make plans for the delivery of the cargo. The group returns to the Moon Swing. Some time later, the cargo is transferred, and the man gives theminstructions to transport the goods to Cotellier where they will be picked up by a Nilya Fek’ra.

Event: The Moon Swing is forced out of hyperspace by a large asteroid. Suddenly pirates attack the group. During the battle, the Moon Swing is disabled, and the pirates board the ship. Gan and Karahaa hide in the secret cargo areas while the others speak with the pirates. The pirates tell them that they do wish to hurt the group, and are only there to take the cargo. After the pirates take most of the cargo, Karahaa and Gan spring their trap. A battle ensues. During the battle, the pirates close their docking clamp, and move away from the Moon Swing. Tanlee is almost sucked into space, but is saved by Gan and Vi’s valiant efforts. The pirates then leave the system, and the disabled Moon Swing. The group work furiously to repair the ship, and successfully manage to get the hyperdrive back on-line. The group also discovers that by adjusting the resonant stabilisers, they have improved the hyperdrive. After the repair, the group jumps to Dravian starport, the closest free port.

Event: Upon arrival at the starport, the group makes their way to the promenade. There they venture into an Ilthorian Café. There they discuss plans. Eventually, the group decides that they should look for any signs of the pirates that attacked the Moon Swing. As a result, Tanlee and Karahaa decide to go and examine the cafes and restaurants, while Vi and Gan decide to look around the lower parts of town. Ledala decides to go back to the Moon Swing to check on the re-fuelling, and to find out how much repairs would cost. Karahaa objects strongly, but is reassured by the group.

Side Event I – Shadow Ambush

Event: While Ledala is walking back to the Moon Swing, she notices that she is being followed by a number of people. Quickly, Ledala advises the group of her current location and predicament. She then ducks into a hat store. There she meets a shopkeeper, and asks him for a back door. The man asks her wether he can help her, just as 2 men in dark clothing enter the room, and begin firing weapons on stun. Ledala begins firing back, as the shopkeeper ducks for cover. Suddenly a “shadow” (Defel) enters the room and quickly knocks Ledala unconscious. Time Taken: 1 hour G.S.Date/Time: 1100 – 35:07:09

Event: The rest of the group receive Ledala’s message, and quickly make their way to the shop.

Event: Upon arrival, the group find that Ledala is missing, and that the shop has been “shot up”. At the scene, a security guard by the name of Dev Ransel begins questioning witnesses. Tanlee immediately begins speaking with the shopkeeper, but finds nothing. Dev then speaks to Tanlee, and asks her wether she saw anything of what happened. After some small talk, Dev asks Tanlee to dinner to “help with the investigation”. Tanlee agrees. The group then return to the Moon Swing to look for clues, and wait for the planned rendezvous.

Event: Later that evening, Tanlee goes to Dev’s quarters with Karahaa as chaperone. Dev makes a pass at Tanlee, which ends being unsuccessful. Tanlee gets back to the original plan to find Ledala. After some scouting in the main computer, Dev and Tanlee find that a number of people have checked into the main hotel on Dravnin who fit the pirate’s description.

Event: Tanlee then calls the others and they organise to meet them at the Hotel. Upon arrival, the group (at various intervals) makes their way to the 5th floor.

Event: Dev leads the group to the room where he suspects that the pirates to be. As the group enters the Hotel room, they find that it is a palatial suite. In the room they find a beautiful woman, a Twi’lek, and a small alien. They also notice Ledala lying on a couch in the corner. Dev introduces them to Nilya Fek’ra, the Administrator of Dravnin Station, and then leaves. Nilya informs the group that she had her own strike team rescue Ledala from a small pirate band that had attacked and kidnapped her. She then tells them that the small time crime lord, Yosger, set them up. She then tells them that she is the Administrator of Dravnin Starport, and is also an executive assistant to “prominent” businessman in the Fakir Sector. She goes on and tells the following: "Yosger stole the cargo because he found a buyer who would pay a better price for them. Yosger also knew that he could not do this directly, so he hired a group of pirates associated with Safonne Pendon, a well-known and ruthless Rodian Pirate leader. Since my employer had already paid for the cargo, this action has upset him very much. However, that is neither here nor there. I am here to talk about you. You are in a bit of trouble. My men saved your friend here, and I believe that hat action should have earned your trust. To fill you in, the thugs that kidnapped your friend were sent to kill you, and to take your ship – The Moon Swing – to his base of operations. Yosger has placed a bounty of 3,000 credits on each of you. He wants you dead, and your ship delivered to him. However, it seems that a disgruntled employee of Yosger’s, a computer technician of some sort, dropped a “pocket” onto your computer system. That pocket contained the layout and security procedures for all of Yosger’s operations and bases. We were going to pay this technician a hansom sum for that information. Unfortunately, he was caught and killed after loading the information onto your ship’s computer system when the cargo you were carrying was delivered. With the information, my employer could convince Yosger to call off the Bounty, allowing you to continue your relatively mundane existences, without fending off any more bounty hunters. As well, I can promise your group a fee of 15,000 credits for your assistance. If you don’t want to help, the bounty will remain – perhaps even increased – and you will have gained a powerful enemy. And we wouldn’t want that now…would we?" The group agrees to the deal, and makes their way to the Moon Swing after Karahaa tends to Ledala’s wounds. Later, the group, and Nilya arrive at the Moon Swing. One of Nilya’s technicians downloads the information she mentioned previously. She then hands a copy of the plans to the group, and tells them to rendezvous in orbit with her Corellian Corvette. The group prepares for the mission, and soon after meet Nilya’s ship in orbit. When the Moon Swing arrives, Nilya explains that the group will need to dock with the Corvette, as the Moon Swing is faster than the Corvette. Ledala maneuvers the Moon Swing to attach onto the Corvette. The Corvette then jumps to hyperspace.

Event: During the trip, Nilya explains that the base is located in the
Carz System near the Quence Sector end of the Hook Nebula. She
also explains that according to the plans that were downloaded from
the Moon Swing, Yosger’s base is not visible from the surface, and is
heavily cloaked by a sensor jamming net. She shows the group a
map of the canyon that they will need to travel down, and shows them
where the base is located. She then points out that the planet has
no atmosphere, and that the only way in or out of the base, is either
via a large hanger bay door, or an airlock. The group decides to
attack the base from the airlock. Nilya’s Corellian Corvette exits
hyperspace, some distance from the main planet in the Yalloe
system, and soon after re-calculates their position, and destination
- The Carz system.

Event: The Corvette arrives in the Nebula. The Corvette travels through the nebula until it arrives at a pocket within the nebula which contains the tiny planetoid called Carz. The Corvette falls into orbit around the planetoid, and soon after, a group of Nilya’s mercenaries boards the Moon Swing, along with Nilya.

Event: The group travels into the planet’s atmosphere and after a harrowing trip through the rocky canyons, arrives near the base. After donning space suits, Karahaa, Tanlee, Gan, Vi, Nilya and the mercenaries make their way into the base. Nilya informs the group that she will go with them while her mercenaries take out the main reactor. Ledala remains with the Moon Swing.

Event: The group enters the airlock, and take base a short time later. Yosger is found with a number of his henchman trying to escape. The group soon kills Yosger after Vi throws a Thermal Detonator. The group then makes their way to the hanger, and informs Ledala to do the same. As Ledala receives the message, she moves the Moon Swing to the hanger, just as the doors are closing. Ledala moves the Moon Swing into the hanger, and finds Yosger’s men have set up an ambush. Ledala tells the group to stand by, as she activates the blasters on the Moon Swing, and destroys the ambush. A few moments later, the group, Nilya, and her mercenaries make their way into the hanger, and onto the Moon Swing. Ledala moves the Moon Swing around, and blasts the closed doors. As the Moon Swing takes slight damage from the blast, Ledala with the help of Gan, flies the Moon Swing out of the hanger, and heads towards space. Just as this is happening, Yosger’s base explodes in a massive fireball. After avoiding ice boulders, triggered by the exploding base, the Moon Swing flies into the safety of space. The Moon Swing again arrives at the Corvette.

Event: The group immediately asks for their money, and is confronted by Nilya. She informs the group that the money is not with her, and that she would be required to travel to Ryloth where her “employer” is to obtain it. The group reluctantly agrees, and after transporting the mercenaries over to the Corvette, travels to the boundaries of the nebula. Once out of the nebula, the Moon Swing jumps to Ryloth.
