SUMMARY:

Whilst visiting Tanlee’s homeworld, the mysterious planet of Zennox, Mission Group Alpha ventures to the black markets of Lorrak Beton-Watt Crude to purchase some illegal merchandise. It is not long however before a member of the Zennox resistance confronts Tanlee with a haunting tale of agents of the Empire kidnapping all of their children. With the help of her friends, Tanlee travels to the ruined city of Targe to help rescue the children from the clutches of the Imperials, only to find something more devastating – the Empire, lead by a dark and sinister force, has taken control of Zennox…

STORY:

Event: Ledala and Gan Jan-Ru are approached by Tanlee, who asks if she can travel to Zennox with them. She tells them that Zennox is her home planet and that she would like to continue her search for her mentor, E’Ran. Tanlee also says that she will be going without Karahaa, and would appreciate it if Karahaa was not told of her leaving. Troy also shows interest, along with Vi. Tebbi, the rabbit alien who joined the group whilst on Tatooine, has returned from training. Eager to adventure with the Mission Group, and with the rank of Private 1/C under her belt, she requests to join the group in going to Zennox. The six then board the Moon Swing and leave for Zennox. Karahaa soon finds out she has been left behind, and although wishing she was there to look after Tanlee, decides that her presence is needed on “Home” more, since she has been placed in charge of Medical Operations.

Event: The group arrives on Zennox, and lands at the palace landing pads, at Lorrak Beton-Watt Crude’s Palace.

Event: Ledala and Vi make their way to the audience chambers of Lorrak-Beton Watt Crude. Lorrak is a scrupulous crime lord who, although not extremely powerful, is extremely rich. Lorrak thanks Ledala for the payment, and asks her if she is involved with the rebellion against the Empire. Ledala of course denies any such connection. Vi then asks Lorrak if there is anything that he may be able to do for Lorrak, as he is interested in “business arrangements”. Lorrak informs Vi that a while ago, a Rodian pirate by the name of Safonne Pendon, raided one of his ships on it’s way to Zennox. The ship contained a statue called the Dancing Goddess. The statue is priceless. Lorrak informs Vi that he is a collector of fine arts, and that the statue should be returned to its rightful owner – him. Vi agrees to take the challenge of finding the statue, and is given one month to do so. In the meantime, Tebbi, Troy and Tanlee are searching for members of the resistance in the black market merchant halls of Lorrak’s palace. Tanlee finds Lensk, a resistance member who is in the palace gathering information about the Empire’s activities on the planet. Lensk tells Tebbi, Troy and Tanlee of the plight of the resistance and how the Empire had recently attacked the city. He further tells them that the city is in ruins. Lensk continues, and tells them that recently one evening; the children that survived the attack were taken during the night. Nobody was disturbed when the children came, and it is believed to be the work of the Emperor of Zennox. After that night, the resistance leaders sent a small resistance team into the mountains to look for the children. They have not yet returned, and fears are held for their safety. Tanlee agrees to go to the ruined city of Targe and help find the children. Ledala and Vi soon meet up with Gan Jan-Ru, who is searching for equipment in the black market. The three of them find a weapons merchant, Arvon Winn who sells Gan and Vi some much needed equipment. Ledala, while waiting for Gan Jan-Ru, receives a flower from Kinos Drais who is at Zennox at the same time. Ledala is then approached by Kinos, and is asked to dinner. Ledala politely refuses.

Event: Tanlee and Tebbi rejoin the group. Kinos than approaches Tebbi and Tanlee, and asks them to dinner. Tebbi bluntly refuses, believing it un-important in comparison to their new mission. Suddenly, while at the merchant’s stall, a small furry creature begins running through the markets, followed by 6 Bounty Hunters, and a cloaked female resembling Zardra. A fire-fight soon ensues, and the Bounty Hunters are killed. Zardra escapes however. During the fight, Kinos “saves” Tebbi and Ledala by crash-tackling them before they are shot by a volley of blaster shots. After the smoke clears, Kinos parts company with the group. The group are then confronted by Izzy the Ewok, and tries to introduce himself. Gan and Vi examine the bodies and find all have salvageable weapons and armour. Vi and Gan then sell the armour and equipment to the nearby merchants. When the group is back together, Izzy explains that there is something that the group should see, hidden under the palace. Izzy soon leads them to an underground tunnel system. In the tunnels, the group finds a small room, which seems to have been recently vacated – in a hurry. In the room, the group finds a hidden cache of weapons and a large map of Lorrak’s palace. The group takes both and returns to the Moon Swing. Tanlee explains the situation of the Zennox Resistance in the city of Targe, and introduces Lensk, the Resistance contact. Ledala receives a package from a courier. The package is opened, and a dress of sorts is found with a note from Kinos. Kinos requests she join him in the palace restaurant for dinner, tonight. Ledala decides that she will take Tanlee and the rest of the group to Targe, and ignores the offer.

Event: Izzy informs the group that he must return to his friend “Migda”. Izzy then leads the group into the alleyways of the small city surrounding Lorrak’s palace. Izzy leads them into the “Red-Light” district where they enter into a brothel. There they locate Midge Dankwater, leader of the Sarnikalon Resistance Force. Izzy is re-united with “Migda”, or Midge, and the group return to the Moon Swing.

Event: Ledala lands the Moon Swing in the central square of the city. Gan Jan-Ru exits first and notices an ambush surrounding the square. A small skirmish takes place, but is soon stopped by Tanlee and Lensk. Koran, the leader of the Resistance on Zennox, meets the group. After securing the Moon Swing and placing camouflage nets over it, Koran takes the group into the city depths, to the Resistance stronghold

Event: Koran explains the situation and recent events in Targe and on Zennox. Koran then asks for the help of the group to find the missing children, and the missing team. The group agrees, and begins to prepare for the mission to commence at first light, the next morning. The next day, the group travels by foot to the mountains in the Gormeed Range. Along for the mission are Koran and 5 other Resistance members.

Event: During the trip, the group notices three human sized, lizard creatures feasting on a dead carcass. The group decides to avoid the creatures, and move around them.

Event: After some distance, the group arrives at the foot of the mountains. A short search reveals a recently used track that leads up into the mountains. Rather than commence a search at night, the group makes camp at the foot of the mountains.

Event: After some time, the group finds that the track splits in two.

Event: The group breaks into two teams. One team with Vi, Gan, and 4 of the Resistance fighters, and the other with Tanlee, Koran, Tebbi, Ledala, Troy and 1 Resistance fighter. Vi and Gan’s team find at the end of their track is a camp site. The site had been used, but not for some time. A further search revealed that above the camp site was a large web, which for safety reasons, the group avoids. The second group finds a hidden passage that opens into a shaft going down, into the mountain. The other group is contacted, and soon the groups merge. As the groups merge, a modified Imperial Chariot-class speeder rises from what seems to be the other side of the mountain. The group hides, as the speeder hovers for a moment. The speeder then flies off.

Event: The group comes out of hiding and enters the shaft that leads into a long tunnel.
Upon arriving at the end of the tunnel, the group finds a sliding rock door.

Event: Vi is at the front of the group with Gan. Vi slides open the door and finds a large cavern, which seems to be an extinct volcanic shaft. Also in the shaft are 2 Chariot-class speeders and a number of Imperial troops. The noise of the passage door being opened alerts the Imperial troops of the intruders, and a fire-fight begins. Vi decides to throw his thermal detonator at the Imperials. A missed shot causes the speeders to explode in a massive fire-ball, killing the troops. The explosion also causes the volcano to reactivate, and damages the reactor. An alert then screams throughout the base, warning of the reactor breach in progress. Realising that the reactor will cause a massive explosion, Gan (using his jet-pack) flies from the ledge with Troy, to shut down the reactor. Both avoid the molten lava, which starts to erupt from the volcano and fly through a blast door on the other side of the shaft. After a short search, they find the reactor, and prevent the explosion, but will be unable to stop radioactive fall-out. After the reactor explosion is stopped, Gan and Troy search the base quickly, and find the children and the missing Resistance fighters. Gan gives the Resistance fighters orders to get out of the base with the children, and rendezvous with the Moon Swing. One of the older members Yaamuk Hahn, takes command, and leads the Resistance fighters and the children to safety. Ledala, who is still on the ledge with Tebbi, sees that the other Chariot speeder has returned and lassos the under-carriage. Ledala then hauls herself up, with the intent of capturing the craft. Ledala tells Tebbi to tell Vi what is happening. Ledala soon realises that as Ledala climbs onto some piping, she realises that the speeder is rising from the volcano. The speeder takes off towards the sea. The rest of the group, under the command of Vi, escape through the tunnel and up to safety. Troy, while heading for the reactor, calls R2-T6 to bring the Moon Swing to the mountains. Gan and Troy find the reactor and manage to shut it down, giving the group time to escape. Gan and Troy then leave, and manage to escape the collapsing base. R2-T6, Troy’s Astromech droid soon arrives with the Moon Swing, and the group boards the Moon Swing. In the meantime, the group looses contact with Ledala.

Event: Ledala informs the rest of the group that she has strapped herself underneath a Chariot-class speeder, and is heading towards the sea. Ledala hangs on to the underneath of the speeder. Using her syntherope, she ties herself to the undercarriage. Ledala then decides to attempt to stop the speeder by getting the pilot’s attention. She fires a shot into the undercarriage, and causes a major overload in the fuel containment module. As a result, the speeder begins to plummet to the ocean. Ledala, just before impact with the water, releases herself from the undercarriage, and falls into the ocean. The speeder then crashes into the water. Event: With the children and the Resistance members aboard, Troy and Gan quickly take the Moon Swing back to the city. The Moon Swing arrives at the city in record time. The people are quickly unloaded from the Moon Swing, with the help of Tanlee. As soon as the people are off, and safely undercover, the Moon Swing takes off after Ledala, only being able to follow the direction last given by Ledala before the group lost contact with her. Troy commences sensor sweeps to find the speeder, with Ledala on it, while pushing the Moon Swing’s engines to its limits. Troy soon detects the speeder, and determines that it is heading for the ocean. He further calculates that it is heading for an island about 30-40 kilometres off shore. A short time later, the Moon Swing picks the speeder up on visuals and heads full throttle towards the shore, point of intersection exactly 20 minutes after take-off. A point that Troy does not let the others forget. The group sees the undercarriage explosion, and observes the speeder plummet. The group also sees in the distance, a large palace built on an island 5 kilometres off shore, with a red Imperial symbol emblazoned on the tallest spire.

Event: Troy then picks up 4 TIE fighters on the sensors, launched from the palace. Vi decides to rescue Ledala and dons underwater gear. Vi opens the ramp, and drops into the water and rescues Ledala. After Ledala is rescued, and Gan dispenses of the TIEs, Troy manoeuvres the Moon Swing to the surface of the water. As Troy identifies another 4 TIE fighters being launched from the palace, the group picks up Vi and Ledala, and Troy takes the Moon Swing ballistic, and manages to avoid the TIEs. Ledala is brought aboard the Moon Swing unconscious. The group, after escaping the Imperial, wait in orbit around one of Zennox’s moons with all systems shut down.

Event: The group then returns to the surface, and to the ruined city of Targe. The group is greeted by Koran, who soon after thanks the group for their help. Tanlee promises to return, to rescue the entire Resistance, as the radiation from the exploded reactor, mixed with the explosion from the volcano, would soon reach the city. The group then leaves, and returns to “Home”. Ledala sends a message via the hyper-net, requesting pick-up, and soon after jumps to hyperspace.
