SUMMARY:

Having found a teacher in the form of the alien adviser on the “Home” Fleet – Santhou, Daurek, with the help of Ledala journeys across the Fakir Sector in the search for a lost telepathic race. But after finding the creatures, Ledala requests that they attend to some much needed trading on Vengler. It is here that Daurek, Ledala, Santhou and a new found associate known only as Rala are accosted by a group of blue robed monks and their leader, Dhar Bullwin. Through a chain of events involving a ancient artifact, the group ventures to the mysterious world of Koda to prevent Dhar Bullwin from unleashing a force which could spell certain doom for the galaxy…

Event: Santhou hires Ledala to take himself and Daurek to a mysterious system, called Doneer’So which is on the way to Vengler.

Event: The Moon Swing arrives over Doneer’So. Santhou instructs Daurek in the ways of the Force. Daurek has some type of telepathic contact with a strange being, but is not instructed what that being is.

Event: Upon arriving in the system, Ledala goes shopping for a smuggling job or any type of cargo to haul. Eventually she finds a cargo of foodstuffs, and feels that she might be able to sell it back to the “Home” fleet upon their return. Daurek and Santhou also go the help Ledala.

Event: An old merchant sells an ancient amulet to Ledala, Santhou and Daurek. Suddenly, six blue robed Monk type warriors, armed with large scimitar type weapons, ambush the group. The warriors seem to be lead by a strange man dressed in dark robes with tiny winged creature on his shoulder who leaves soon after giving the order for the warriors to kill the group and get “The Eye”. Ledala, Daurek and Santhou defeated the warriors and then race back to the Moon Swing to avoid the authorities.

Event: At the Moon Swing they are approached by a female Outlaw named Rala who watched the group fight, and says that there was nothing on the world for her, and that should like to join the group. Although hesitant at first, Santhou says that she can be trusted, and soon agrees to join the team and the Rebellion. Santhou and Daurek examine the eye and find that “The Eye” is an ancient map. Inside the stone are a large number of smaller crystals, with each one representing a star system. Ledala also examines “The Eye” and decides that she can successfully navigate the Moon Swing to that system.

Event: Santhou also reveals the story of what he knows of “The Eye”. Krin Koda, a famous scout and explorer found it many years ago. Soon after, Koda disappeared, and “The Eye” has turned up numerous times around the galaxy. It is believed that “The Eye” brings misfortune and death to those who possess it. Also “The Eye” is some type of map. A little known legend says that “The Eye” leads to a temple, built by an ancient and powerful race as a repository for all their knowledge and might. According to the legend, the power contained within the Temple will grant anyone, who stands on the Alter within, mastery over his fellow man, and the ability to move among them unseen. The group is then contacted by the strange cloaked figure via comlink. The man calls himself Dhar Bullwin and old and powerful Dark Mage. Dhar does not threaten the group, but merely asks for the return of the “Eye of Koda”, which he says, rightfully belongs to him. The group refuses to return “The Eye”, and Dhar vows to seek vengeance.

Event: The group arrives at Koda’s World, and are attacked from inside and out. A strange creature comes from one of the overhead lockers in the cockpit and attacks Santhou. The creature is destroyed. During this battle, a ship that emerges from hyperspace attacks the group. The craft is eventually shot down. An escape pod is jettisoned during the explosion, and enters the atmosphere of Koda’s World.

Event: The group follow the ship and find that it landed in dense undergrowth. Ledala finds a clearing to land the Moon Swing.

Event: The group takes a journey on foot to find the crashed escape pod. When the group arrives, they find that the escapes pod is empty. Rala discovers a track that leads into the forest. The group follows the tracks.

Event: The group catches up with Dhar, but as he comes within sight, the ground begins to shake, and a large dragon type creature with 2 heads, emerges from the ground. A battle takes place and during the battle, Dhar disappears. The creature is defeated. The group continue on the track, and come to a large clearing. In the clearing is a large palace. Circling the spires of the palace is what appears to be a group of large birds. Suddenly, as the group approaches, the birds swarm down, and it is soon realised that the birds are actually sentient beings.

Event: The group talks to the Pteranadon type creatures, and explain that they are friends. The group finds that the creatures are called the Tempestro, and that the Dhar had told them that the group were enemies, and were on their way to destroy the Tower of the Tempestro. Santhou also reveals that they seem to be under the control of Dhar. The group, after some time, convinces the Tempestro that Dhar is the enemy. The group is released by the Tempestro and go after Dhar. The group sees that the Dhar has changed himself into a type of lizard creature, and begun to scale the walls of the Tower. Dhar soon enters the Temple. The group searches the base of the tower and finds a large vertical tablet. The tablet is embossed with gems and stones similar to that of “The Eye”. After a short time, Ledala sees that the stones are placed in the positions of the Koda star system. She then obtains “The Eye” from Santhou, and places it where Koda’s World should be. As she places “The Eye”, the tablets begins to shift, and reveal a large staircase leading up.

Event: The group ascends the staircase with some Tempestro. At the top of the staircase, the group finds a large anteroom with an altar in the middle. In the platform is a brilliant column of light. In the column stands Dhar. He screams that he has gained the power mentioned in the legend of “The Eye of Koda”. Santhou and Daurek attack Dhar with the force and in turn Santhou is killed. Ledala and Rala also join the fight and seem to have no effect on the Dark Mage. A short time later, the Dark Mage screams in pain, and seems to be attacked by the light from the altar. In a brilliant flash, the Dark Mage is no more. A shimmering image of an ancient Tempestro clad in ceremonial armour stand in the altar. He tells the group that Dhar wished to use the power here for evil and greed. Because they had fought to save the tower, and destroy the evil, he grants each member a gift of their choice. Ledala requests knowledge of starships, Rala for knowledge in the use of weapons, and Daurek for the life of Santhou. Santhou is returned to life and Daurek given greater insight into the force. The temple soon begins to collapse, and the group and the Tempestro flee the Temple.

Event: Ledala sells the foodstuffs she purchased on Vengler to the “Home” fleet. Mission Group Alpha, consisting of Ledala, Tanlee, Gan Jan-Ru, Karahaa, Daurek, and Troy are reunited. Vi Yingyang, an ex-Imperial scout, is officially transferred to Mission Group Alpha. Daurek requests that Troy be promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal, which soon after takes effect in a small ceremony.
