SUMMARY:

While Ledala and Daurek prepare for a secret mission with Santhou, the remaining members of Mission Group Alpha are sent on a dangerous mission to the remote swamp world of Lotide, the location of an Imperial depot which is rumoured to be doubling as an exchange point for Imperial Spies and researchers. With the help of a new companion, an alien business man named Kinos Drais, Mission Group Alpha, consisting of Gan, Tanlee, Karahaa, Vi, and Troy, will soon discover information which could lead the Alliance to one of its greatest victories since the destruction of the Death Star…

STORY:

Event: The group is called to the briefing room for a mission. The group is given a mission to go to the Imperial Outpost on Lotide, a system in the Mortex Sector. The group is to infiltrate the Outpost and with the help of a Rebel computer interface droid, QT-7, extract any information on Imperial shipping activities within the Mortex and Fakir Sectors. Once a Lotide they were to make contact with an alien called Namreh Restsnum who will be making arrangements for the group. The group is also given the cover of scientists from Dakot 7, a small Imperial research facility on the other side of the Relgim Sector. The group is introduced to new member, Private 1/C Vi Yingyan, an ex-Imperial scout. The group is also introduced to part-time member, Kinos Drais, an alien who has a flair for business. Kinos is a smuggler and will assist the group when the Moon Swing is not available, or if Ledala becomes unavailable. His ship, the Dream Wæver is a modified Lantillian Space Yacht. The group prepares, and then leaves in the Dream Wæver for Lotide.

Event: The group arrives at Lotide and lands at the old spaceport. The spaceport is little more than a few mud flats with lines painted on acting as landing pads, and a run down spaceport.

Event: The group departs and explores the old spaceport. Most of it is deserted, and the most exciting thing is the old cantina, “Harry’s”. In the bar, Troy tries his hand at repairing on old poker machine, and wins some credits. The group also finds “Lobster Head” in one part of the bar, who tells them that he is in on an Intergalactic Bar Crawl.

Event: At “Harry’s”, they find information concerning the Outpost and meet their contact. The contact gives them the information they require. The contact tells the group that a shuttle brings people from the Outpost every day, and then soon after returns. The Outpost is about 5 hours from the Spaceport. The group soon departs the spaceport, and make their way to the Outpost via the shuttle transport.

Event: The group investigate the outpost.

Event: The group, using QT-7, soon finds the information that they require. Unfortunately, the information is in code and the group attempts to unscramble the information. Troy attempts to find the translation for the code and finds the location of his father in the process – Coruscant. Troy soon finds the translation, and deciphers the message. The group returns to the spaceport, and returns to the Dream Wæver.
