Jalcom wakes up every day with a feeling of purpose, he knows that the work he does in Rebel Intelligence is vitally important to the future of the Galaxy, one way or the other. If you were to go and read Jalcom Taneer’s resume, you’d see that he is in every way your typical rebel. Brought up on a peaceful world, parents killed in an Imperial raid etc, etc.

Unfortunately, its all lies.

Jalcom Taneer and everything about him was created by COMPNOR years ago. On many nights Jalcom has sat alone in his quarters trying to remember what there was before the Facility. Nothing. A scattershot of memories from being there, some scientists, soldiers but that’s all.

When the Rebel Alliance was in its infancy before even the destruction of the first Death Star, Jalcom was released. His orders were to assassinate a prominent Moff who was inspecting an Imperial listening post, and then disappear. Nice and simple. But Helkio was a small world, and try as he might to evade capture, it didn’t take long for the Moff’s Stormtroopers to capture him. He spent a day subjected to violent beatings and interrogation, but told nothing of where he came from or who he was. Then, as he was told, the Rebels came for him. He awoke in a small dank room with a kind faced blonde woman watching over him, and tending to his wounds. He smiled.

It was here that Jalcom met Tanlee Jandaloo for the first time. To Tanlee, it was another soldier of the Rebel cause whom they had rescued prior to being terminated. To Jalcom, it was true love. Jalcom became obsessed. As Jalcom conveyed the story that the Moff he killed was responsible for his father’s death. The rebels investigated his story, as they Imperial Intelligence had hoped they would, and it wasn’t long before Jalcom knew COMPNOR had done their job as it all checked out. Consequently. the Rebels embraced him into their ranks with open arms.

Jalcom took on the task of setting up the Intelligence network helping Troy Hasulak on Helkio along with Tanlee, Daurek, and Karahaa. All the while, he watched Tanlee from afar. It was not until he received an subliminal order after reading an Imperial transcript that he knew the time to strike was at hand.

The attack went flawlessly, with over a dozen Rebel Operatives captured or killed. Unfortunately, Tanlee, Daurek, Karahaa and Troy were rescued by a smuggler who had been employed by the Rebellion. Jalcom had disappeared prior to the attack. In the confusion, the others thought that he had been captured and killed. It was not until later, that they found that he had escaped.

Jalcom’s mission was not yet complete. He needed to know where he Rebel base for Fakir was. It was later that he was able to make contact with a Rebel agent, and was taken to Masterhome. Jalcom was greeted with open arms and was quickly incorporated into the field of intelligence under Carlos Jullid. He has worked in that section ever since for the Rebel cause and the Imperial one. Every so often a piece of information passes him which sets off an alarm in his head. You see a spy can’t just go and tell where the Rebel base is, he’d give himself away. Besides you have to look at the big picture. Sure the base could be wiped out, but there are plenty of others out there. Its getting the important information that counts.

Recently however, Jalcom received another command to finally reveal the location of the Rebel Base. Also at this time, the members of Thermal Force had caught wind of this situation, and discovered the spy. Jalcom was followed into the hills where the Rebels were housing their telecommunications beacon. After a short battle, Jalcom was killed, and Thermal Force again saved the day.
